Last Night in the US

We are sitting poised to cross the border in the morning. As usual getting through Portland wasnt too bad but from south of Olympia through Tacoma and the 405 bypass around Seattle was horrendous. After 13000 miles we can say again that the worst part of every trip south is Seattle. Our one saving grace was that we decided we could use the HOV lane and while the other lanes were at times at a complete stop we sailed right on by.

We had all the tires on both the truck and trailer rotated, balanced and polished with so much courtesy and efficiency. And this is a free service forever when you buy your tires from them. Discount Tire has one of the best customer service policies of any service industry that we are aware of. We have probably dealt in over a dozen different outlets across the US and every store is the same.

It has been a long hard week. Fourteen hundredmiles so far from Laughlin on Monday morning. We'll be sleeping in Union Bay on Sunday night
